Abundance, patience and trust, the lessons of travel

Well started the morning by sleeping through my alarm it took another three alarms to finally awaking up at 3.30 am and rush around to get ready for the airport. My lovely dear and wonderful supportive friend Ian, came to pick me up and take me to terminal 5 in Heathrow, this terminal always seems to amaze me in its architecture and how smoothly it runs. The day started rushed but it sure turned into a lesson of patience and the ultimate test in remaining calm. The lady at the counter where I handed my bags after a long wait in the queue surprised me by saying there would be no additional charge for my extra bag, yippee!!! I nearly kissed and so everything else seemed to bring me abundance. Flight was good and got to Madrid in one piece.
Madrid airport was a time to people watch as had 3 hours to play, wow, it was amazing to see the effect of Vata at play, how people seemed all to be rushing, loosing their temper a lot of pitta stirred but was blessed that Madrid airport had a fabulous juice bar and amazing alternative lattes and food.  Finally went to where I was suppose to get the plane to Marrakech,  decided to get in the queue straight away, was second in the queue and spent most of the time trying to not make it obvious that I was doing my stretches, squats, side stretches, forward bends, but no doubt many must have thought I was a nutter.

We kept seeing the time getting closer and closer to when we were meant to fly but the people on the counter were avoiding us like the plague.  Finally an announcement 10 minutes to flight leaving that they had now changed the gate, the masses began to run as though we might not all get on the plane, I joined in, instead of breathing and getting my harmonium on its wheels so I didn't have to carry it, i seemed to join all the other vata individuals. As we got to the gates, chaos descended on us, all pushing and shoving and to no avail as they then proceeded to board the plane by seat number so, why, why all the chaos.

Flight uneventful and we made good time and arrived at the now super dooper airport, that is quite beautiful. After customs the long wait for the bags and a little voice inside what if they don't make it, the other voice, would it really matter?

bags in hand off to find my taxi driver and as soon as so them, a little voice said "why didn't you book the taxi you know, rather than getting the Riad to get a taxi for you", so this is the bit on trust, he was delightful and his father spoke english, I was a bit nervous and as he went deeper into a part of the old city that I don't know let's say I was a little nervous, but finally he stopped and a man with a trolley to take my bags suggested I run to keep up to my riad through various nooks and cranies, whilst in the back of the mind, why, why did you book this. But as the beautiful door opened to a little place in heaven, the mind said, "see, have you not learnt to trust??!!. It has been delightful and the staff so amazing.
